About Us

 Northern Lights was started in October 1992, but its founder has been working in Entertainment Production since the mid 80's. After working with the Stagehand union for 10 years, some friends got together and started this lighting company. We worked with DJ's and local bands designing and creating lighting rigs for their shows.

 Soon the dot com's started calling to have Northern Lights design their events, so we expanded our inventory to offer staging an scenic design too. Right about the time that the dot com's crashed we had been lighting a couple dozen weddings, and now with extra time on our hands and word of mouth from our past wedding clients we had more business than ever before.

 We're very proud & blessed every time we light someone's wedding or reception, because we're being trusted with the day that will hold so many memories for them. We will go above & beyond to make their special day just that. 

 Then we started Lighting & Staging bigger Concerts, Events for Movie Stars & Professional Athletes. We designed Scenery & Lighting for Theater Productions & Corporate Events, we have even been lighting a synchronized swim show for over 15 years staring many Olympic swimmers. We are honored with every new event that we get, but we are proud of all the repeat events that we do every year.   

  Northern Lights has seen many faces and has worn many hats, our staff members continue to take lots of classes in Design, Programming, Rigging & Color theory. We have been so Blessed to do what we love and I believe that's what makes us shine brighter than other company.
